Homemade falafel

about 20
1 can of chickpeas
1 yellow onion
1 crushed garlic clove
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 pinches of sambal oelek
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons canola oil

Do this
rinse the chickpeas and drain them. peel and chop the onion. Mix chickpeas, onions, garlic, cumin, salt, parsley, sambal oelek, cornstarch and 1 teaspoon canola oil. shape dough into small oval, flat buns. fry them over medium heat in canola oil until hot, about 2 minutes on each side.
